Rhine Falls, Switzerland

Rhine Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe, located in the northern region of Switzerland near the town of Schaffhausen. The falls span a width of 150 meters (490 feet) and have a height of 23 meters (75 feet). The falls are fed by the Rhine River, which flows from the Swiss Alps into the North Sea.
The sheer power and force of the waterfalls make them an incredible sight to behold, especially during the spring when the snowmelt causes the falls to become even more intense. Visitors can take in the views from several viewing platforms and even take a boat tour that brings them close to the falls for a more immersive experience.
The area around Rhine Falls is also home to several hiking trails that lead through the surrounding forest and provide great views of the falls from different angles. The nearby town of Schaffhausen is also worth exploring, with its charming old town and historical landmarks such as the Munot Fortress.
